Human Cannonball

Built onto the back of a standard 7.5 ton truck, this cannon has performed all over the UK and has toured extensively abroad with other shows. The stunt performer climbs the ladder on the outside of the barrel and lowers himself down into the deep dark depths. Many a seasoned stunt performer cannot cope with the claustrophobic conditions and those who can are highly respected for their courage and daring.

Once in position they signal to the crew that they are ready and then remain braced for the explosive propulsion to shoot them out into the air. They then have to turn whilst in flight and land in the safety net.

Another spectacular stunt made to look "oh so easy" by our experienced crew. Don't be fooled or feel complacent about the ever present danger.

Every stunt has its own risk to the performer and they all know the risks involved but, working as a close-knit team, every performer and crew member looks after the other and our rigorous maintenance of stunt equipment ensures that the stunt props are always in optimum condition.
